Outcomes Framework Review 2022

Statement regarding data collection for Aboriginal children and young people

When interpreting the data in this report, it is essential to consider its broader context, particularly with regard to data sovereignty and self-determination for Aboriginal people.

About the review

Consultation for the Framework review opened on 1 February 2022 and targeted face-to-face community consultations, including with Aboriginal people, occurred from 1 June to 31 August 2022.

The report of community feedback reflects conversations in Adelaide and with Aboriginal Communities in Port Lincoln, Port Augusta, Mt Gambier, the Riverland, Point Pearce; as well as meeting with the APY Women’s Council in Alice Springs.

Having carefully considered all of the consultation feedback including from submissions, an online survey and via YourSAy, the Framework has been revised. The revised Framework was tabled in Parliament by the Minister for Education, Training and Skills and gazetted on 6 February 2024 .
